Washington, D.C. – On Wednesday March 7, 2018 America’s SBDC, President & CEO Charles «Tee» Rowe and Latino Coalition CEO, Hector Barreto signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) pledging cooperation between their organizations on behalf of Hispanic small business owners.
The MOU was signed shortly after speeches by President Donald J. Trump and Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao regarding the improvement in the economy and the infrastructure proposal.
«This is an important effort to make sure that the gains Hispanic small businesses have made and the opportunities presented by our surging economy are fully available» said Rowe. «It was exciting to hear the President talk about the gains that have been made in the economy and Secretary Chao talk about the opportunities in the infrastructure proposal. We look forward to working with the Latino Coalition to carry that momentum forward.» The MOU obliges the two organizations to collaborate on training and develop mutual events and programs. They will work to expand and enhance each other’s efforts to aid Hispanic small business opportunity
